  • Knife: Another donation by a fantastic client, this PJLT will make its way into the theatre of combat, rescues, and see the chores of many missions. This is Pararescue's most popular knife choice, a proven design useful for any military combat search and rescue mission, from desert to jungle, from marine environments to glacier rescues. It's an honor to make these knives for the United States Air Force Pararescuemen (the PJs) and I'm doubly honored that a special client who wishes to remain anonymous donates them for PJ use. The PJs are our nations top military rescue service, they are super paramedic-soldiers dedicated to saving lives, both civilian and military. This PJLT has a high chromium stainless tool steel blade for high corrosion resistance and toughness, hollow ground, with a two-third length top blade swage to reduce point geometry for piercing. The tough blade as 2" of my vicious vampire-teeth serrations, and a good length of razor keen tanto blade with just the right angle for tactical rescue chores. The knife has a fully tapered tang for weight balance and is bolstered with zero-care 304 stainless steel, dovetailed to bed pinned handle scales of tough canvas reinforced micarta phenolic. The entire blade and handle are bead blasted for plenty of tooth when gripping wet, and for subdued wear.
  • Sheath: one of my tactical combat grade tension fit sheaths works best here, made of double thickness thermoformed kydex over a 5052H32 corrosion resistant aluminum welt frame and belt loops. The sheath is secured with nickel plated steel Chicago screws, and sports a burgundy lacquered engraved aluminum flashplate.
  • One of my best CSAR knives, graciously honoring and given to our best, and ready for action!

Thanks, B.M.!
