Patriot-Boar Combat Knife

"Patriot-Boar" hybrid combat grade knife: Peacock blued O-1 tungsten-vanadium tool steel blade, nickel silver bolsters, Bloodwood exotic hardwood handle, locking kydex, aluminum, stainless steel combat sheath
Patriot-Boar Hybrid Combat/Tactical/SAR Knife
  • Size: Length overall: 14.25" (36.2 cm),Blade length: 8.9" (22.6 cm), Thickness: .250" (6.4 mm)
  • Knife: A hybrid blend of two of my knife patterns, with an extended length Patriot blade pattern, and a Boar Hunter handle pattern from my pattern list. Together, they make a serious, tough, and heavy duty combat knife. The blade is vermillion-peacock blued O-1 high carbon tungsten-vanadium tool steel, with two inches of aggressive vampire rip teeth serrations and plenty of straight blade length. The knife is made from 1/4" thick stock and has no top swage, so has extremely good blade and tip strength with the fully thick spine. The tang is tapered for weight control, and the handle has deep finger grooves for a superior grip in either forward or reverse grip style. The bolsters are pinned nickel silver for low care corrosion resistance, and are dovetailed for a positive grip and bedding of the Bloodwood exotic hardwood handle scales which are mechanically secured with 10 through-tang pins.
  • Sheath: This is one tough knife, and deserves a tough sheath, and has one of my waterproof combat grade locking sheaths made of double thickness kydex, 5052H32 corrosion-resistant high strength aluminum alloy welts, frame, and belt loops, all stainless steel locking mechanism, and blued steel Chicago screws.
  • A great, tough, and durable knife, ready for combat or SAR.

Thanks, J. W.!
